There is a falconry on the site. When we visited there was a young man on the grounds with owls who would fly back and forth on command.May 06, 2017
- 5 / 5By Rhianwen LlewellynWe love the events here in the holidays like knight school or the joust. As a local resident we may have become complacent to the beauty of the castle but it is spectacular and well maintained.
There are tours and lots of staff on hand, a lovely cafe with outdoor seating in the grounds, discounts and concessions plus an aviary with owls and hawks.
