  We always go for Cafe Rouge wherever we shop my wife and I, this is our 2nd visit, my wifes 4th to Cardiff restaurant and we're getting more & more disappointed. Yes the staff are very helpful & friendly, especially Rafal, from Poland a very nice waiter who gave us some helpful tips when we visit Poland later in the year, but it doesnt make up for the poor quality of food especially when its not exactly cheap. Prezzo next time, Cafe Rouge has delivered its final plate of food for us.

  The mains were fine but the dessert failed for me. If I order strawberry ice cream that is what I expect - not strawberry & clotted cream. I don't like clotted cream. They did offer to exchange but it was too late - we were getting short of time by then so I sent it back. Service was slow. Hour and a quarter for mains & (one) dessert, really didn't have time to wait for an alternative. Need to improve service and accuracy of menu options.

  Biased because I always love the steak fries. Reasonably priced, well relaxed atmosphere.
